Late Rapper Coolio’s Soul Mate, Mimi Ivey Pens Heartfelt Message Following His Passing

The Hip-Hop world is currently reeling from the passing of rap veteran Coolio. The 90’s star is synonymous with the genre and has created several timeless hits over the years, from “Gangsta’s Paradise” to the theme song from Kenan and Kel. While many fans have been pouring out their hea’rtfelt condolences, so has his soulmate.

Coolio is surv’ived by his ten children. The rapper admitted to being absent for much of their lives and fathering his kids with several different women. Born Artis Leon Ivey, Coolio was 59 at his time of de’ath and had several strained relationships with his kids. He was married to Josefa Salinas in 1996, but the pair di’vorced in 2000. They shared daughters Artisha Ivey, Brandi Ivey, Jackie Ivey, and son Artis Ivey III. From there, he fathered six other kids, with their mothers being hard to track down. The children’s names are His six other kids, including Grtis Ivey, Milan Ivey, Darius Ivey, Zhaneand Ivey, Kate Ivey, and Shayne Ivey. The latter two are reportedly twins.

While Coolio was unmarried at his time of passing, it’s reported that he was dating a woman named Mimi Ivey. The adult entertaine took on his last name. According to her site, Mimi is a “fun, exciting, and talented entertainer” available for bookings. Her bio says, “Foremost I am a mother and take great pride in being one. Everything after that has come with hard work, dedication, and a lot of disappointment.” She describes her physical attributes amongst a flock of bi’kini-clad photos. She is “standing at 5’10’. Weighing in at 145lbs. Green Eyes. Athletic Body Type. Curves that make you want to go skiing!!”

In a heartfelt post to her dec’eased lover, Mimi thanked Coolio for reaching out to her the night of his pa’ssing and shared her sadness at lo’sing the love of her life. “Words can not express the pain that I am feeling right now. You are my soul mate, hubby, lover & best friend. I’m so happy that you called me on FaceTime at 2 am and woke me up out my sleep to tell me you love me and miss me.”
